Tyra Banks cuts a camo chic look as she makes grocery run in LA amid growing coronavirus pandemic

Tyra Banks steps out in green camouflage jacket as she makes a grocery run… after revealing she’s gained 25Ibs since posing for 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover

Tyra Banks commanded attention as she ventured out for essentials on Monday, after revealing she’s gained more than 25Ibs since posing for her 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover.

The America’s Next Top Model star caught the eye in a camouflage jacket as she stepped out for a supply run at Erewhon Market in Pacific Palisades, but took a risk by ditching the face mask and protective gloves.

The 46-year-old paired the customized jacket with a thin white T-shirt and a pair of green joggers.

She completed the ensemble with a black cuffed beanie, dog tags, a black leather Kate Spade backpack and black Nike sneakers.

Banks looked fierce after revealing that she’d gained somewhere between 25 and 30 pounds since her cover of last year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, in which she showed off her physique in a yellow bikini.

She told Harper’s Bazaar: ‘I have a very interesting relationship with food. I have to say that it is one of the most important things in my life.

‘Right now, you can’t tell because I have on a men’s blazer, [but] I am 25 pounds heavier than I was on the cover of a very famous swimsuit magazine that came out last year.’

Later in the interview, she said she’s choosing not to deprive herself, adding: ‘So I’m 30 pounds heavier and it’ll come off one day, but not today.’

The model also revealed her unusual habit of ordering the same meal from two different restaurants every dinner time, before comparing them with her loved ones.

She explained:  ‘I do it with my son, I do it with my man, we line it up and then we score the different restaurants with the same item.

‘What happens is, the next time you order, you know where to order from because one of them is always nasty.’
