TYRA Banks admitted she made “off choices” as the longtime host of America’s Next Top Model and said she “agrees” with recent fan backlash.
The 46-year-old TV personality made headlines this week for various controversial comments she made on earlier seasons of the modeling competition.

Fans blasted Tyra for putting “blackface” on a contestant during season four of the reality show.
She also was criticized for demanding a Top Model hopeful close the gap she had in her front teeth.
Days after the “problematic” scenes went viral, the ANTM host broke her silence.
“Been seeing the posts about the insensitivity of some past ANTM moments and I agree with you.
“Looking back, those were some really off choices. Appreciate your honest feedback and am sending so much love and virtual hugs,” she tweeted on Friday.

The fashion mogul has come under fire for making fun of a contestants tooth gab in a resurfaced clip.
In the season six clip, Tyra told the Danielle Evans: “So Danielle, you went to the dentist but refused to have your gap closed.
“Do you really think you can have a Cover Girl contract with the gap in your mouth?”
When Danielle told her she refused, Tyra put her finger between her two front teeth to mock the aspiring model.

She told her: “This is all people see. Easy, Breezy, Beautiful, Cover Girl. It’s not marketable.”
Danielle proceeded to defend herself: “A little bit is okay but I don’t want to completely close it.”
In the end, Dany did get her gap partially closed and she won the season.

Outspoken host Wendy Williams slammed Tyra for “putting a model in blackface” on her talk show Thursday.
She said: “I want to hear…about the time when Tyra had somebody dress up in blackface.
“You know, what was behind that? What were people really thinking?
“And the time when one of the girls in the competition best friend died, and Tyra made the girl do a photoshoot in a graveyard.
“That whole world is just so weird to me… I’d rather watch it from afar.”
