Tyler, the Creator praised for dance moves at Governors Ball as Igor tops Billboard 200

Tyler, the Creator has proved he can dance like the best of them at this year’s Governors Ball.

The American rapper whipped up a frenzy with his moves at the New York festival causing many to recall other iconic performers.

Tyler’s set came a day after his fifth album Igor reached number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

“MAN I’M SO COOL WHAT CAN’T I DO,” the rapper said on Twitter, retweeting a video of his performance.

The rapper recently spoke out after Theresa May resigned as Prime Minister. In 2015, May – who was then Home Secretary – banned the rapper from entering the UK for up to five years due to lyrics in his album Bastard and Goblin.

She said that they “encourage[d] violence and intolerance of homosexuality” and “foster[ed] hatred wit views that seek to provoke other to terrorist acts.”

Her decision forced Tyler to cancel tour dates at Reading and Leeds festival.

After May addressed the nation to tell them she was stepping down as Prime Minister, Tyler – who announced three London shows earlier this week – tweeted: “Theresa gone, I’m back.”
