Tyler The Creator isn’t fazed by Eminem taking a swipe at him in track Kamikaze.

There’s been a bit of beef between the two rappers ever since Tyler criticised Eminem’s 2017 track Walk On Water.

He tweeted saying he thought the song was ‘f**king horrible’, so naturally Eminem decided to take aim at Tyler when he released Kamikaze a year later.

Kamikaze sees Slim Shady throw shade at multiple rappers, but he seemed to make a homophobic slur at Tyler which caused a bit of controversy.

Eminem says: ‘Tyler create nothin’, I see why you called yourself a f****t, bitch. It’s not just ‘cause you lack attention, it’s ‘cause you worship D12’s balls, you’re sacrilegious.’

Speaking to The Guardian, Tyler has now had his say on the diss and, turns out, he’s actually not that fussed – even if it did spark outrage among his fans.

He told the publication: ‘Did you ever hear me publicly say anything about that? Because I knew what the intent was.’

‘[Eminem] felt pressured because people got offended for me. Don’t get offended for me,’ Tyler said. ‘We were playing Grand Theft Auto when we heard that. We rewound it and were like, “Oh,” and then kept playing.’

Eminem has previously apologised for his remarks about Tyler in an interview with Sway in 2018.

The Lose Yourself hit-maker admitted: ‘I was angry when I said the sh*t about Tyler.

‘The word that I called him on that song was one of the things where I felt like, this might be too far… because in my quest to hurt him, I realised that I was hurting a lot of other people by saying it.’

Tyler, meanwhile, was previously banned from the UK by former Prime Minister Teresa May for his own use of homophobic slurs.

In 2015, May banned Tyler from entering the UK for 3-5 years for encouraging ‘violence and intolerance of homosexuality’ in his lyrics.

Tyler, however, argues that the use of the word ‘f****t’ in his own lyrics had never been in a homophobic manner.

The artist, who was recently seen hanging out with Love Island winner Amber Gill, is now allowed back in the UK again.
