Retirees are generation sex, with almost one in 10 making love more now than when they were younger, a poll suggests.
The study found 59% of those aged 65 to 74 had sex at least once a week, and 19% of those aged 75 and over still had regular romps.
Just under 10% were having more, and better, sex than they did when they were younger.
The study also found that 19% of retired singles were active on online dating sites, such as Tinder and eharmony.
The study by McCarthy & Stone also found that 27% of the single retirees using online dating sites were aged between 70 and 74.
A spokesman for the firm said: “Those over 60 specifically value stability, someone who’s gentle and kind, and someone with a good sense of humour.”
Rachael Lloyd, of eharmony, said: “While the majority of our activity comes from people aged 30 plus who are ready for a serious relationship, we also have a good segment of the over-60s.”
