Two Members of the WHO Suggest Playing Video Games to Aid in Flattening the Curve – GeekTyrant

We are currently in some weird times as we’re staying home a lot more, and people are looking for things to do. Well, if you haven’t considered it yet, gaming could be a very good thing to do in this time. Heck, even Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus of the World Health Organization has said it could be a great activity. Ray Chambers (also of WHO) recommended gaming as a great means to physically distance ourselves but there are other benefits.

It’s not only a fun way to distance ourselves, but with the ability to play games online, it still allows for social interactions with family and friends. Now, when your mom yells at you for playing games, I guess you can say that the WHO told you to do it. I can’t guarantee she won’t keep yelling (and you probably should still limit yourself and listen to your mother) but you can see what happens.
