TUI has extended its holiday cancellations until July 10, with Marella Cruises also on hold until July 30.
The firm’s new TUI River Cruise, due to launch earlier this year, will now start in November.

The UK’s biggest travel company first paused all hotel stays and package holidays in March, stating they would be no longer available until “further notice”.
They said in a statement today: “TUI UK and Ireland today confirms that due to the on-going travel restrictions all beach holidays up to and including July 10 will be cancelled”.
While TUI has currently cancelled their trips until these specific dates, there is a strong chance that they will have to scrap further holidays as the coronavirus outbreak continues to spread.
A spokesperson for the company previously added: “We are constantly monitoring the situation and will start taking people on holiday again as soon as we are able to do so.
“At this point in time, nobody can accurately predict when that will be, so for the time being we will keep a close eye on our programme and continue to amend and adapt timings in line with the latest global travel advice.”
If you have a TUI holiday booked, you will be given a credit note for the full cost of your trip, as well as an additional 20 per cent if you booked a package deal.
They explained: “We understand that you may not be ready to book again just yet, so the refund credit gives you the flexibility to book your travel in future.
“Plus, if your original booking was for a package holiday, you’ll get a separate booking incentive up to 20 per cent. For example, if you paid £2,000 for your holiday booking you now have £2,400 to spend.”
Hundreds of thousands of TUI customers can now apply for cash refunds for cancelled holidays.
The airline apologised to customers for not processing refunds quick enough after it was forced to cancel 900,000 holidays due to coronavirus.
They have since created a page on its website for customers who have cancelled holidays booked to claim a cash refund automatically.
