Troop Beverly Hills cast, including Tori Spelling and Shelley Long, reunite 30 years after movie’s release

The cast of Troop Beverly Hills have reunited 30 years after the movie’s release.

Tori Spelling joined her former cast mates Kellie Martin, Heather Hopper, Tasha Scott, Aquilina Soriano and Dinah Lacey for the Entertainment Tonight anniversary special set to air on Tuesday.

The feel-good comedy, which was released in 1989, stars Shelley Long who plays a California socialite who takes over her daughter’s (Jenny Lewis) girl scout troop in an effort to prove her worth to her estranged husband (Craig T. Nelson).

Long, 69, was also at the reunion as the former Wilderness Girls met at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.

It was Tori’s first movie role and to mark the reunion the former Beverly Hills 90210 star shared a side-by-side snap of herself as she is now alongside a still from the movie when she was 14.

The mother-of-five captioned the Instagram snap: ‘You know I’m a Beverly Hills girl through and through, but it’s hard to believe it’s already been 30 years since my movie debut in #TroopBeverlyHills …

Then and now: Tori, 45, shared a photo collage of herself now next to an image of her when she was 15 in the movie

She added: ‘I was beyond excited to get to reunite and catch up with the cast! You’re not gonna want to miss our reunion tonight on @entertainmenttonight #BeverlyHills #RedFeather #wildernessgirl #cookietime’

The ladies, including Betty Thomas who played Velda Plendor, the leader of the rival girl scout club Culver City Red Feathers, talked to ET about the movie.

‘May I say? I am so proud of these girls and this girl too,’ Long said, hugging Thomas next to her.

‘I am! You know I am. And that’s really why I did this, because of the girls. They are so wonderful.’
