Trisha Goddard dug a hole and jumped well and truly in it on Loose Women today.
During a discussion about family, the panellist jokingly suggested people might think Stacey Solomon was ‘fast and loose’ for having three children by three different fathers.
Cringe.
‘I have three children and they’ve all got different dads, and I definitely…’ said Stacey, before eyeing Trisha supposedly staring at her.
‘Alright Trish,’ she suddenly (and jokingly) said.
Then it all went a bit…downhill.
Trisha initially reacted by saying, ‘You’re talking to someone… I’ve been married three times!’ before adding ‘But the indication is you’re fast and loose…’ to whooping noises from the audience.
The show might be called Loose Women, but this is ridiculous!
The look on poor Trisha’s face when she realises how what she’s said sounds is a picture!
She then tried to clarify things, but it only went downhill from there.
‘I’ve read them [negative comments] about you,’ she continued. ‘I thought it was really unfair, but I have read that about you.’
Trisha, please stop!
Fans offered their verdict on Twitter, with one saying ‘Trisha has not gone down well today’ and another adding ‘give Trisha a shovel.’
‘Is it safe to say Trisha won’t be back for a while?!’ said a third.
The talk show legend was recently revealed as one of the contestants on the 2020 series of Dancing On Ice.
Other celebrity names taking part include Ian ‘H’ Watkins from Steps, TV presenter Michael Barrymore and model Caprice.
Trisha also addressed her upcoming stint on Dancing On Ice while on Loose Women today.
‘With Dancing On Ice we all talk to each other through social media and we are all friends,’ she said. ‘But there only needs to be a photo opportunity or when we are skating.’
‘It is a competition and people will be like “I will be friendly to you now” but if we are up against each other “you’re going to die”.’
