Travis Scott has reportedly provided 50,000 meals for Houston residents amid the freezing temperatures in Texas.
The Sicko Mode hitmaker and his Cactus Jack Foundation partnered with Mayor Sylvester Turner to launch a food assistance program to help residents of the city, according to People.
Approximately 50,000 hot meals have been provided to community members after Winter Storm Uri caused widespread heavy snowfall and freezing temperatures across the state.
Many residents have been left without water, heat or electricity after the storm severely damaged essential infrastructure.
Travis, who previously enlisted his and Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi to help him provide gifts for kids in his hometown at Christmas, isn’t the only star to be doing his bit, with Beyonce also providing relief for Texans.
The singer’s foundation, BeyGOOD, and Adidas have teamed up with Houston’s Bread of Life to help provide financial relief grants of up to $1,000 (around £715).
A statement on the organisation’s Twitter page read: ‘BeyGOOD and Adidas are working with Bread of Life to bring urgent relief to those suffering as a result of the winter storms.’
It added that people in ‘Texas, or any state affected by these storms, you can apply for assistance’.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle paid for repairs at a women’s shelter in Texas that was badly damaged.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have donated an unknown amount of money to the Genesis Women’s Shelter and Support, in Dallas, Texas, a refuge for some 123 homeless women and children.
Two million people in Texas were left without power, as the coldest weather in 100 years hit the state.
