Trips abroad are looking more and more unlikely this year due to last-minute travel restrictions so next summer is the next best thing for families.

Spain along with France and parts of Greece and Portugal are all on the quarantine list which means Brits must self-isolate for two weeks when back in the country.

This also means that tour operators have slashed prices for next year not only to allow travellers to book ahead or to change their current bookings but also to recoup lost earnings for this year.

We’ve rounded up some of the best deals you can find if heading to some of the Spanish islands next year:

  • Jet2 summer holidays 2021 – £100pp off (first 50,000 bookings – now only 29,000 left)

British Airways released their 2021 summer and autumn holidays four months early back in July.

Deals from £329 to Europe and the US up until November 2021 were released ahead of schedule for Brits to plan their adventures.

EasyJet were selling package holidays for summer 2021 in April.

EasyJet’s commercial director Alex Lofus said now is the best time to get a bargain holiday, previously telling Sun Online Travel: “The big demand is next summer – there has been a massive surge in people looking to secure a family break.

“We’re mainly seeing people booking Turkey, a particularly popular destination, with a big interest in self-catered properties so families can reunite with their extended relatives.”

He added that other destinations include Portugal with properties that are near stretches of beaches and large spaces the most in demand.

He explained: “Hoteliers are offering unprecedented prices so popular destinations which would be difficult to book for availability or for being too expensive are now available.”
