PASSENGERS have taken planes to a new level – by treating them like an in-flight spa.
Spotted on flights have been travellers doing everything from manicures and pedicures to putting on fake eyelashes and nails.

Posted on Instagram account Passenger Shaming, some of the worst travellers were caught performing the beauty treatments at their desk.
One woman was caught putting fake eyelashes on her companion on a Ryanair flight, while she sat on the floor of the cabin.
In another image, a female passenger uses the tray table to choose her false nails and apply them.
Social media users were conflicted, with some asking what was wrong with it, while others said it was common decency to avoid it.

One person wrote: “This is more impressive than shameful”
Another added: “I just feel like this is a quality use of flight time!”
However, others shared their in-flight horror stories.
One person wrote: “My pilots grounded an L-1011 over toxic smelling fumes that turned out to be nail polish a passenger was covertly applying. Yeah, basically an emergency landing because of a manicure.”
Another person was concerned about health and safety: “Do you sue your lash girl or the airline for when turbulence hits and that tweezer stabs you in the eye?”
It isn’t the first time an on board beauty treatment has been spotted.

Another passenger gave herself a similar pedicure during a flight, allowing her foot shavings to fall onto the floor.
On a different flight, a man was spotted picking the dead skin from his feet before throwing it in the air.
One female traveller was left disgusted after finding discarded hair extensions in her seat pocket.
Other bizarre behaviours include a woman doing strange yoga in her seat.
The brightly dressed passenger got on all fours and stretched her back in front of bemused travellers.
A couple went even further, performing couple’s yoga at the back of the plane.
