Barcelona have renewed their interest in signing Chelsea winger Willian.

The Catalan giants were linked with the Brazilian talent last summer and saw several bids rejected by the west London outfit.

Memphis Depay warning

Tottenham have been warned that Manchester United have the first option on any potential deal for Memphis Depay.

According to The Mirror, Spurs are readying a bid worth £50million for the Dutchman.

But it has now been confirmed by Lyon chief Juninho that Manchester United have the first option to re-sign Depay.

His current contract is set to run until 2021 and the Ligue 1 side are preparing to offer a contract extension to try and convince him to stay in France.

“Manchester United has the priority if several clubs line up to buy him,” Juninho said. “But we have not received any offers so far. He is really happy right now in Lyon.

“Rudi (Garcia) will soon make his decision. He is a technical leader. We will discuss an extension of contract by the end of the year.”

Timo Werner latest

RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann insists he’d tell Timo Werner to leave the club if he thought they were holding back his development.

In 130 appearances for the Bundesliga side, 23-year-old Werner has scored an impressive 76 goals – a haul that has made him one of the most sought-after players in Europe.

Both Manchester United and Liverpool are admirers of the Germany international, with the former said to be mulling making a bid for the forward in the summer.

Nagelsmann doesn’t believe the time is right for Werner to depart the Red Bull Stadium and is adamant he’d tell him as if he thought the team was hindering his growth.

“I’ve already advised many players to take off their wedding ring with their current club to move somewhere else,” he told Sport Bild. “I’d do the same with Timo Werner if he were developing faster than the team at RB Leipzig.”

Ronaldo Koeman to Barcelona

Holland manager Ronald Koeman has responded to reports claiming he could replace Ernesto Valverde at Barcelona.

Valverde’s position at Barcelona has been under constant scrutiny this season – and their goalless draw with Slavia Prague in the Champions League did little to ease the pressure.

Koeman, who made over 190 appearances for the Spanish champions, has a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave for Barcelona.

And asked the possibility of him taking the hot seat at the Nou Camp, Koeman said: “Moving there is a possibility but I will not think about it until after Euro 2020.”

Kylian Mbappe replacement

PSG are aware they may struggle to keep Kylian Mbappe for the long-term and are therefore already lining up his replacement, reports claim.

According to Marca, the Ligue 1 champions are eyeing Antoine Griezmann as the man who could fill the void of his international team-mate.

Griezmann has struggled to settle at Barcelona given that he is no longer the main man, as he was at Atletico Madrid.

The feeling at the Parc des Princes is that he would fit perfectly with Neymar and Mauro Icardi to form a new-look front three.

The report comes soon after Real Madrid were tipped to launch a record-breaking £343m bid for Mbappe and Griezmann’s sale could help the club secure his signature.

Bergwijn stands on two goals and seven assists in just 10 Eredivisie appearances this season, having managed 14 goals and 12 assists in 33 league games last term.

The 22-year-old has reportedly been watched multiple times by Manchester United’s scouting department as they weigh up a summer approach.

Piotr Zielinski possiblity

Liverpool could potentially resurrect a deal for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski.

The Reds came close to signing the Poland international in 2016 and rumours went into overdrive when the player was pictured wearing a Liverpool shirt on a television show.

The deal didn’t happen and Napoli snapped him up from Udinese for a bargain £14million.

However, Italian newspaper La Repubblica claim Napoli are considering selling the 25-year-old after ‘exhausting’ contract discussions have failed.

The newspaper continues to say that Jurgen Klopp personally spoke with the player and praised his display after Liverpool’s Champions League defeat in Naples.

It’s claimed Zielinski would ‘reflect on his future’ if Klopp decided to come knocking.
