13.30 UPDATE: Man Utd McGinn deal

Manchester United are considering a shock move for John McGinn, but the Aston Villa ace would cost £50m.

McGinn won Villa’s player of the year award and helped them earn promotion to the Premier League.

But United could swoop for him this summer, according to the Sun.

United are going about a restructure and want young hungry players to help them back to the top.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already signed Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka and now wants McGinn to join his revolution.

12.00 UPDATE: Barcelona surprised by Neymar talks

Barcelona have been surprised with the ease in which talks for a deal to bring Neymar back to the club have taken place.

PSG appear keen to sell Neymar back to Barca after he made it clear he wanted to quit.

And, with Neymar insistent Barca were the only club he would leave for, it has made things easy.

PSG asked for around £270m to begin with but have already been knocked down below £200m with players being thrown into the equation.

11.05 UPDATE: Dalot and Rojo told they can leave

Manchester United have decided to sell Diogo Dalot and Marcos Rojo this summer after the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly told the defenders they can leave.

Dalot only signed last summer and impressed in spells under both Jose Mourinho and Solskjaer.

But Rojo has barely featured in recent years after signing under Louis van Gaal.

10.30 UDPATE: Real Madrid see Eriksen as third choice

Real Madrid want to sign Christian Eriksen – but only if they fail in deals for Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek.

Madrid are overhauling their squad this summer and want a new midfield axis.

Pogba is their top target with Van de Beek a back up. Eriksen though is third choice, according to Marca.

Eriksen wants to leave Tottenham and has just one year left on his deal.

10.00 UPDATE: Leicester set for Tielemans deal

Leicester City will this week look to break their transfer record to complete the permeant signing of Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans.

Tielemans is set to return from holiday this week to complete the switch to the King Power Stadium after impressing on loan in the second half of last season.

Brendan Rodgers is ready to smash the club record £30 million they paid for Islam Slimani three years ago to complete a deal for Tielemans is rated at £45 million.

And he wants to beat Manchester United to Tielemans as he bids to bolster his side for next season.

09.30 UPDATE: Tierney should make Arsenal move

Kieran Tierney should take the chance to move to Arsenal this summer, according to Scotland hero Steve Nicol.

“Yes [it would be a good move],” Liverpool legend Nicol told ESPN FC.

“Tierney’s a good player. I think he’s probably reached his peak at Celtic.

“I think stepping up to the tougher challenge will better his game.

“So yes, I think Arsenal right now need a new left-back, a young left-back.

“I think potentially he’s the guy.”

09.00 UDPATE: Everton told to pay up

Everton will need to pay £15 million if they want to sign Marseille winger Lucas Ocampos.

Everton boss Marco Silva is looking to beef up his squad this summer and bargain basement signing Ocampos is in his sights.

Former Argentina under-17 international Ocampos, 24, has played for Marseille, Monaco and AC Millan since moving to Europe from River Plate four years ago.

Sevilla are also interested in signing Ocampos with Marseille needing to offload players to meet financial fair play regulations.

08.20 UPDATE: Southampton make Che Adams bid

Southampton are poised to make a third and final offer of around £16 million for Birmingham City striker Che Adams.

Adams, 22, who scored 22 goals for the Championship side last season is Ralph Hasenhuttl’s number one transfer target.

Hasenhuttl tried to sign Adams during the January transfer window and is ready to move onto other targets if he fails to land his man this time around.

Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and Burnley are also waiting in the wings and could come in with bids if Saints decide that they are going to take their elsewhere.

Saints last offer of £14 million was rejected out of hand by Birmingham and hope that £16 million will match their valuation of the former Sheffield United youngster.

07.45 UPDATE: Inter prepare £75m Lukaku bid

Inter Milan will test Manchester United’s resolve for Romelu Lukaku this week with a £75m bid.

New Inter boss Antonio Conte wants the striker to lead his new look attack and will offer Mauro Icardi in exchange to sweeten the deal.

It remains uncertain if United are keen on Icardi but Lukaku found himself out of the United side towards the end of last season.

And he has previously admitted to be being interested in a move to Italy.

07.25 UPDATE: Arsenal to miss out on defender

Arsenal are set to miss out on Torino defender Armando Izzo as the Serie A club look to block the move.

Unai Emery is believed to be a big fan of Izzo, 27, who has won one international cap and would like to see him in north London this summer.

Izzo who started his career with his home town club Napoli was a huge reason why Torino qualified for the Europa League.

Emery had Izzo watched a number of times last season and was weighing up making an offer as he looks to rebuild his defence this summer.

But Torino are ready to turn down any offers they receive for Izzo who has also been tracked by Everton and will offer him a new deal.

07.15 UPDATE: Real Madrid want Mane in swap deal

Real Madrid are preparing to offer Liverpool the opportunity to sign Spanish hotshot Marco Asensio – but Zinedine Zidane wants Sadio Mane in return.

Liverpool were linked with Asensio last summer and Klopp is believed to still be a fan, but he would be loathed to lose Sadio Mane.

Madrid though have identified Mane as an option as part of their summer rebuild which has already seen them sign Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.

Zidane however is looking to clear out a number of players and build a completely new look team.

07.00 UPDATE: Manchester United on to the next one

Ed Woodward has moved on to securing his third summer signing for Manchester United after completing a deal for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Manchester United chief sent an internal email round to club staff after the £50m deal went through and revealed they were working on more targets.

It read: “Despite the inflated nature of the transfer market and constant speculation and stories, which can be misleading, the recruitment team – in conjunction with the manager [Ole Gunnar Solskjaer] – are working calmly behind the scenes to bring in other exciting players that fit their long-term vision for the club.”

United are keen to sign centre-back, a midfielder and another forward.

06.45 UPDATE: Neymar to Barcelona

Barcelona could swap Philippe Coutinho with Neymar this summer.

Neymar is desperate to return to Barcelona after growing bored with life in France, and Tim Vickery reckons Coutinho is the obvious player to swap in any deal.

“If this is going to happen, it is going to take some work there with the financial architecture with players going the other way,” Vickery told Sky Sports News.

“The obvious candidate to go the other way would be the former Liverpool man Philippe Coutinho.”
