  • Carlo Ancelotti could reach an agreement to become the manager of Arsenal today
  • Barcelona are keeping tabs on Italian sensation Emanuel Vignato

Thiago to Barcelona

Barcelona would love to re-sign Bayern Munich star Thiago, according to reports.

The Spain international is supposedly keen to return to La Liga, over six years since his transfer to the Allianz Arena.

Thiago is refusing to talk to Bayern about a new contract, despite the Bundesliga champions wanting to tie him down for the future.

And Barcelona would love to bring him back to the Nou Camp, where he’d compete with Busquets, Frenkie de Jong, Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic for a starting berth.

Wilfried Zaha latest

Chelsea will accelerate their interest in Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.

According to The Guardian, Frank Lampard has a £150million transfer budget at his disposal and is eager to bolster his forward options.

The Eagles are in a strong position to negotiate given Zaha’s current deal expires in June 2023 and will accept no less than £80million.

Jadon Sancho, CSKA Moscow forward Fyodor Chalov, Moussa Dembele and Timo Werner are all being monitored as alternatives but could be tougher to attract in January.

The Guardian claim Roy Hodgson’s side want Burnley winger Dwight McNeil to replace the Ivory Coast international, but Newcastle and Tottenham have also shown interest.

Wanted: Emanuel Vignato

Barcelona are keeping tabs on Italian sensation Emanuel Vignato.

Vignato, 19, is a regular for Serie B side Chievo and has earned plaudits for his performances.

Juventus, Inter Milan, Lazio, Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich have all been credited with interest in the Italian Under-20 midfielder.

But Transfermarketweb claim Barcelona scouts have watched Vignato on several occasions.

“Where do I see myself in 10 years? I hope as high as possible, playing with a strong team,” the midfielder told DAZN. “Barcelona are the most beautiful side to watch, Guardiola is the best coach.”

Chelsea wish list

Chelsea have compiled a four-man wishlist for the January transfer window.

That’s according to the Evening Standard, who claim Frank Lampard’s side could spend heavily on new recruits to help their push for a top-four finish.

It’s claimed that Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha, Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake and Leicester full-back Ben Chilwell are all being monitored.

Chelsea were cleared to sign players in the January transfer window last week after the Court of Arbitration for Sport halved a ban imposed last February for breaching rules on the international transfer and registration of players under 18.

Tahith Chong swap proposal

Manchester United are offering Tahith Chong to Juventus in January as they attempt to restart stalled talks over veteran striker Mario Mandzukic.

Mandzukic is surplus to requirements at Juventus, but the club are still want £4.6million for the Croatian international.

However, Ed Woodward and Co. are not convinced they should pay such a large transfer fee for a striker, who has yet to play any minutes this season.

And according to Italian publication Calciomercato, the Red Devils are prepared to add Tahith Chong into the deal in January.

The 20-year-old winger is also in the final year of his current deal and reportedly isn’t looking to extend his stay at Old Trafford.
