That’s according to Tuttosport, who claim the France international was eager to return to Juventus.

It is said that he called his old club, despite his form improving under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But Juventus refused to launch a bid for their former midfielder.

But Express Sport understands United will only make their move if Wolves drop their £100million valuation.

PSG are keeping tabs on Arsenal’s midfield sensation Matteo Guendouzi.

The France Under-21 international has impressed at the Emirates this season and PSG have been scouting him ahead a potential summer move.

Unai Emery he has been told that he can raise money by selling players like Mesut Ozil to boost his kitty and might therefore consider cashing in on Guendouzi.

PSG would need to offer the Gunners around £60m – ten times what Arsenal paid for him – if they want any chance at all of signing him.

“I wouldn’t be in any rush because you don’t want to derail the current situation,” he said.

“So, if it is Ole, keep it amongst the club and start planning. Our problem the past few years is that we were always playing catch-up.

Liverpool believe their financial might will prevent Mohamed Salah following Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho out of the Anfield exit door.

The title-chasing Reds announced record annual pre-tax profits of £125million during the week.

It came as reports surfaced that Juventus are ready to offer Argentine striker Paulo Dybala plus £44m to take Salah back to Serie A.

But Liverpool will battle any bids for the ex-Roma star.

A football finance source told Express Sport: “Liverpool are no longer a selling club. After posting profits of £125m they can resist any offers.”

Arsenal are lining up Bayer Leverkusen sensation Kai Havertz as a potential replacement of Mesut Ozil.

Express Sport understands the Red Devils have opened talks with Juventus over a deal for Dybala.

Liverpool want to sign Ajax sensation Matthijs de Ligt at the end of the season.

But the Reds are facing a massive battle against some of Europe’s elite clubs to secure the deal.

De Ligt is tipped as a future great in the Netherlands and is also wanted at Barcelona and Manchester City.

The Sun reckon Liverpool are in the running for his signature but Ajax will demand a massive fee, especially after selling Frenkie De Jong to Barcelona for around £67m.

The Sun reckon the Red Devils will move for Koulibaly after sending scout Jim Lawlor to watch him last week.

The report claims they are prepared to go as high as £90m to get the deal done.

Chelsea star Andreas Christensen insists he is not going anywhere this summer and revealed talks were held over a January exit last month.

Christensen is barely getting a game at Chelsea this season under manager Maurizio Sarri.

Speaking to Danish website Bold, he said: “At the moment there’s two clear first choices, and then there’s me. I just have to show that I’m ready and take the chance when I get it.

“A lot of talk [over a January move] but it was quickly made clear that the club still saw me as someone who would play.

“Of course thats really nice to hear so I just have to keep proving my self. I think I’ve been good the last few times I’ve got the chance and then I can only hope that I’ll be selected more often.”
