Arsenal will not be forced to offload a big name in order to fund the mega signing of Nicolas Pepe from Lille.
BBC Sport reporter David Ornstein said: “I’m told that this will not mean a significant departure.
“The likes of Aubameyang, Lacazette, will not be leaving Arsenal this summer to help finance this deal.
“But yeah you can safely assume that Wilfried Zaha won’t be coming into Arsenal if this deal doesn’t get done.”

Aston Villa boss Dean Smith is plotting a bid for his eleventh summer signing of the transfer window and is considering an offer for Cardiff City goalkeeper Neil Etheridge.
The Daily Mirror claim Smith is ready to splash the cash again in the coming days.
If a move for Etheridge fails to materialise, Villa could turn their attention toward Burnley’s Tom Heaton.
Heaton would be an affordable option at just £7m, but the 33-year-old is unlikely to be a long-term solution for Smith.

Kieran Tierney is ‘edging closer’ to a move to Arsenal, Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol claims.
“Well this is a story that we’ve been looking at all day today, trying to get a development for our viewers,” Solhekol said of Celtic star Tierney.
“One source close to the deal was able to update us this afternoon.
“What they said is, I’ll read out the message they sent to me, Arsenal increasingly confident that a deal with Celtic with Tierney is edging closer.
“Still no third official bid yet but talks suggest all parties will be happy with the numbers when that is finally registered.
“Now that is a message that we got this afternoon, seeming to suggest that Arsenal are edging closer to signing Tierney. Good news you’d think for Arsenal supporters.”

Newcastle have made a £7m bid for PSG left-back Stanley N’Soki.
L’Equipe say Steve Bruce is eyeing the defender as he looks to bolster his ranks at St James’ Park.
N’Soki is desperate to leave PSG this summer in a bid to get more playing time.
But, PSG are hoping for at least £9m (€10m) plus incentives for the 20-year-old starlet.

Man Utd want either Douglas Costa or Paulo Dybala if they are to sell Romelu Lukaku to Juventus.
United have been tipped to sign Dybala from Juventus this transfer window, with the Old Lady eyeing Lukaku.
And Daily Mail claim United now want Juventus to give them Costa in return, rather than Dybala.
While they would like to sign Dybala, the Argentina international has frustrated the Red Devils with his hesitancy.

Man Utd have reignited their interest in Christian Eriksen.
The Red Devils have been long-term admirers of the Dane, who has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League for several years.
Now Tottenham are in a predicament, with Eriksen unwilling to sign a contract extension as he enters the final 12 months of his deal.
It would mean he’d be free to talk to other clubs from January, but it now looks as if there’s still a chance he could leave before the August 8 deadline.
According to beIN Sports journalist Tancredi Palmeri, Manchester United have made fresh contact with Tottenham regarding Eriksen.

Arsenal have agreed a £72m transfer fee with Lille for Nicolas Pepe, despite Gunners boss Unai Emery having just £45m to spend this summer, as the deal will be made up of instalments.
Arsenal are looking set to sign in-demand winger Pepe from Lille, according to BBC Sport.
The Gunners will pay £72m for the 24-year-old, although personal terms are yet to be agreed with the player.
Emery was told last month that he’d only have a limited transfer budget to play with this summer.
He’s managed to wriggle around the stumbling block by agreeing to pay Lille the £72m over a series of instalments.

Arsenal are set to complete the signing of Lille star Nicolas Pepe, with the winger likely to join within the next 48 hours.
BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein tweeted: “Arsenal have reached an agreement with Lille to sign Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe for €80m.
“Paid by instalments to fit #AFC budget. 5yr deal, agent agreement still needed but set to be closed in next 24/48hrs.
“Napoli also have agreement with #LOSC but agent rejected proposal.”

Tottenham were in contact for Gareth Bale recently but the Real Madrid forward will not be sealing an emotional return to north London.
Bale now looks to have secured his exit, with a move to China expected despite it having been previously reported that the 30-year-old did not want to go to the Far East.
Spanish daily newspaper Marca claim Bale will sign a mega-money deal to join Jiangsu Suning, who also recently signed ex-Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan defender Joao Miranda.
The report suggests that Bale’s move only needs the small details completing, with the player’s representative Barnett having been in discussions with the Chinese club for several weeks.

Man Utd and Tottenham transfer target Paulo Dybala is open to leaving Juventus this summer.
The Argentinian would be open to moving away from Juventus this summer in a bid to get his career back on track, according to TuttoSport.
It was previously believed that Dybala would be committing his future to Juventus, claiming that he was very excited to play under Maurizio Sarri.
But Juventus need to sell some players this summer to keep up with their spending spree.

Harry Maguire has been tipped to leave Leicester for Man Utd this summer by his ex-team-mate Michael Dawson.

“And one thing I would like to say is you’ve seen him play in all of the pre-season friendlies.

Everton have identified a replacement for Idrissa Gueye, with the midfielder set to join PSG.
The Toffees have agreed to sell Gueye to PSG for around £29m (€32m), according to L’Equipe.
Silva didn’t want to complete the sale of Gueye until Everton had found a suitable replacement.
It’s now believed that they’ve targeted Mainz star Jean Philippe Gbamin as the man to fill Gueye’s shoes.

Man Utd have reached an agreement to sign Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes.
Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport say United are closing in on the midfielder after agreeing a £63m (€70m) fee.
It’s claimed he’s ready to jet to England to complete his medical ahead of the move.
Fernandes could be a potential replacement for Paul Pogba if the Frenchman quits Old Trafford.

Jamie Carragher has urged Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to sign a couple of players this summer.
When asked if he’d be happy if Liverpool didn’t sign anyone else, Carragher told Off The Ball: “No, I’d like them to bring someone in. I still think we’re a little bit short at left-back, [Alberto] Moreno’s gone.
“I still think a creative midfield player. The front three is a difficult one for managers and clubs when you’ve got such a set front three.
“They’ve got a young lad in Brewster, probably one of the best talents in Europe for his age. Origi, the goals he’s scored.
“To bring another one in and spend £50m or £60m, Origi has just signed a new contract so they will have had to promise him in some ways, a lot of chances.
“The same with Brewster, I think he was maybe looking at moving abroad [last year] like a lot of young English players now.
“In some ways, In some ways, they’ve got to give these players a chance. I understand from a manager’s point of view it’s not easy.
“But Liverpool will spend big if the right player is there, they proved that last season with the keeper and [Virgil] van Dijk. It’s not a case of that.”
