Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd backed to make THREE signings, Rangers exit, Chelsea boost

09:30 UPDATE: Neville on Rashford

Man Utd star Marcus Rashford is already a £100million player – and could well become worth £150m, Gary Neville claims.

“I was shaking in the crowd for him, thinking, ‘What a moment!’ But he’s the real thing, Marcus Rashford,” Neville told beIN SPORTS of Rashford’s penalty against PSG.

“Man United – people will say they need to sign a striker [in the summer] and they probably do.

“But they’ve got, through the ranks there, he’s a £100m striker now and he could become a £150m striker. He is absolutely top class.

“Ole’s got him playing exactly where he should play, on the last line, challenging the space in behind.”

09:10 UPDATE: Solskjaer to get Man Utd job

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be made Manchester United manager, Romelu Lukaku claims.

He said: “I know he’s going to stay, there’s no doubt about that.

“He wants to stay, the players want him to stay. We’re doing really well, we’re playing like Manchester United should play.

“He’s a young coach, he has young players as well so it’s the perfect environment to develop and hopefully win trophies in the future.”

08:50 UPDATE: Real Madrid want Neymar

Real Madrid are readying a £215m move for PSG’s Neymar.

Spanish outlet OK Diario claim Real president Florentino Perez is desperate to land the Brazilian.

OK Diario say Neymar is closer to leaving PSG following their Champions League humiliation against Manchester United.

Real are willing to pay a world-record fee of £215m to land Neymar this summer.

08:30 UPDATE: Man Utd backed to make THREE signings

Manchester United have been backed to sign Real Madrid outcast Gareth Bale, Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and Crystal Palace ace Aaron Wan-Bissaka by former Red Devils winger Andrei Kanchelskis.

He told Bwin: “I do believe Bale would reignite his career if he came to Man Utd. I believe Bale needs to be loved and that’s exactly what the Utd fans and Solskjaer would do for him.

“If Bale were to leave Real Madrid, Man Utd have a great advantage in the fact that they are one of the only clubs that could afford his wages.

“I think Sancho would be a great signing for Utd. He’s young and English which is the perfect mould for Man Utd.

“It makes you wonder how Man City didn’t see the talent or weren’t willing to give him the chance.

“Man Utd would love to have the chance of taking a City player and making him a Utd great.”

On Wan-Bissaka, he added: “Wan-Bissaka would be an excellent signing.

“Man Utd need someone with experience in England and Wan-Bissaka has proven he is more than capable of handling the Premier League at Crystal Palace.”

08:10 UPDATE: Rangers exit

Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt are tracking Rangers hitman Alfredo Morelos, Express Sport can exclusively reveal.

The Germans will be represented at Easter Road to watch the Colombian international against Hibs on Friday night.

Coach Adi Hutter and his scouting team have been alerted to free-scoring Morelos and after watching extensive video footage.

They have now decided to step things up and watch him in the flesh.

07:50 UPDATE: Hazard to Real Madrid off?

Chelsea’s Eden Hazard may be reluctant to move to Real Madrid if they appoint Jose Mourinho as their new manager, ESPN football expert Julien Laurens claims.

Laurens told ESPN FC: “There’s a big overhaul of players in that [Real Madrid] squad to be done in the summer.

“Is Mourinho the right man for that? I’m not so sure. Does he even want to do that? I would be surprised.

“Usually he likes arriving with a certain standard of players in his squad and not having to rebuild everything like will be the case this summer for Madrid.

“Then if Real Madrid want to sign Eden Hazard, I’m not really sure Hazard would be delighted to go to Madrid and work with Mourinho again.”
