Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in signing James Rodriguez, it has been claimed.

Spanish outlet Marca say the Premier League giants are both eyeing the Colombia international.

Rodriguez is currently on a two-year loan from Real Madrid to Bayern Munich.

The forward is available for £36million and Bayern have first option on him until June 15.

3pm UPDATE: David Luiz in Chelsea contract talks

David Luiz has held talks over a new contract at Chelsea, according to Maurizio Sarri.

The Chelsea boss is hopeful of keeping the defender but is unsure of the latest development.

“I don’t know on David Luiz. I know that he had a meeting four or five days ago, but then my mind was on this match. I didn’t ask him the result of it.”

A laughing Sarri added: “If you want, I will ask him tomorrow.”

2.30pm UPDATE: Barcelona fans want Mohamed Salah signing

Barcelona fans want the club to sign Liverpool star Mohamed Salah after a picture of the Egyptian with Lionel Messi was posted on social media.

The two star players met as Barcelona beat Liverpool 3-0 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

Messi outshone Salah netting two, including a sublime free-kick, while the Egyptian hit the post when it appeared easier to score.

The two meet again on Tuesday for the second leg at Anfield with the La Liga giants in pole position.

And Barcelona posted a picture of Messi and Salah shaking hands on their Twitter account with the caption: “See you again next week!”

2pm UPDATE: Arsenal handed Nicolas Tagliafico blow

Arsenal target Nicolas Tagliafico has committed to another season at Ajax.

“I want to tell you that I will stay for one more season,” Tagliafico said in a video message on Ajax’s official Twitter account.

“Hopefully it will be a great year. Like it is this year.”

Tagliafico has impressed for the Dutch side in helping them to the Champions League semi-finals this season.
