Liverpool are monitoring Porto striker Fabio Silva.

Silva, 17, is enjoying something of a breakthrough season in Portugal having earned four brief top-flight appearances and two Europa League cameos against Young Boys and Feyenoord.

And his sudden rise to the first team has Premier League clubs interested.

Scouts in Attendance claim officials from Liverpool, Everton, Watford and Crystal Palace were present during Sunday night’s 3-0 victory over Famalicao.

And they saw Silva score just two minutes after entering the action as a substitute.

Bring him back!

Manchester United fans have demanded the return of Memphis Depay after the Dutch ace scored a stunning solo goal for Lyon at the weekend.

The 25-year-old, who spent 18 months at Old Trafford from June 2015 to January 2017, bagged Lyon’s first in a 2-0 win over Metz on Saturday, taking his tally to 11 goals in 15 appearances for club and country so far this season.

And some Man Utd supporters have urged the club to re-sign Depay in a bid to bring more goals to the side, despite the Dutchman recording just seven goals and six assists in his first spell at Old Trafford.

One fan tweeted: “Why did United sell this chap again?”

While another added: “Bring back @Memphis. Would be class under a fluid attacking side with energy around him and not a pragmatic military style of LvG that restricted him.

“You can’t say he wouldn’t add depth either and give us other options! Until then keep smashing them in for Lyon.”

Sensi makes sense

Barcelona are plotting a move for Inter Milan talent Stefano Sensi.

Sensi, 24, started the season in fine form under Antonio Conte – netting three goals and providing four assists in seven Serie A fixtures.

Spanish outlet Sport claim the Catalan giants have decided to swoop for the four-capped Italy international and have already made contact with Inter and the player’s representatives.

Sensi is on loan at the San Siro from Sassuolo and Inter have the option to make the deal permanent for £21.5million at the end of the campaign.

It’s thought Ivan Rakitic could be crucial to the deal and Inter would be receptive to any offers if the Croatia star arrives in January.

Wanted: Martin Odegaard

Manchester United are considering a move for Real Madrid outcast Martin Odegaard.

Odegaard, 20, arrived at the Bernabeu in 2015 for £2.6million in what Carlo Ancelotti has since revealed to have been a “PR exercise” for Real Madrid.

The Norwegian made two senior appearances for the Spanish giants but has started to rebuild his career on loan with Real Sociedad – netting twice and provided three assists in ten La Liga fixtures.

Reports in Spain claim Odegaard doesn’t want to return to Real Madrid and Manchester United are supposedly considering a bid next summer.

Bruno Fernandes latest

Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes now finds Manchester United a more attractive proposition than Tottenham.

That’s according to Portuguese publication O Jogo, who claim Fernandes believes he’s got a better chance of first-team action at Old Trafford due to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s lack of midfield options.

The Premier League duo were battling it out for the 24-year-old over the summer with Spurs considered the more likely to secure his signature.

Over the weekend, The Sun reported that Fernandes’ agent Miguel Pinho was in London to discuss a deal with United officials – but further reports claim his £70million valuation is still a stumbling block.

Luke Matheson battle

Manchester United will battle with rivals Manchester City for the signature of Rochdale star Luke Matheson.

Matheson, 17, scored at Old Trafford during a Carabao Cup clash last month and his display is believed to have captured the attention of the Manchester duo.

The England Under-18 international made his league debut at 15 and is reportedly valued at £10million.

The attacking right-back has a host of top-flight scouts monitoring his progress each week and could make the switch in January.

No Eriksen offers

Tottenham received no official bids for Christian Eriksen during the recent summer transfer window despite links to both Manchester United and Real Madrid.

The 27-year-old has refused to sign a new contract at Spurs with his current deal set to expire in June, but no-one made the club an offer even though he had made his stance of wanting to leave north London clear.

The Athletic have claimed that neither United or Real, or any other club made chairman Daniel Levy an offer, with the Denmark international only interested in joining either of the two biggest clubs in Spain.

The former Ajax man is still keen on a move to Barcelona or their rivals, and will not be content on moving to Old Trafford if he keeps the same mindset next summer.

Jadon Sancho bid

Manchester United are determined to sign England international Jadon Sancho.

That’s according to the Mirror, who claim Ed Woodward and Co. are prepared to break their club transfer record fee and pay Borussia Dortmund’s £100million valuation.

The 19-year-old winger scored 13 goals in 43 appearances last season for the German outfit and shows no sign of slowing down with four goals and seven assists already registered this campaign.

Last year, Sancho signed a £190k per week contract extension until June 2022 – but the report claims Borussia Dortmund would be prepared to entertain offers next summer.

Manchester United’s current record signing is Paul Pogba, who signed for the club from Juventus for a fee of £89.3 million in August 2016.

Unai Emery sack decision

Arsenal will NOT sack Unai Emery after Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.

The Gunners enjoyed a positive transfer window bringing in the likes of Nicolas Pepe, Kieran Tierney and Dani Ceballos.

But their turbulent start to the campaign has led to calls from supporters to replace Emery as manager.

However, The Athletic say that won’t be the case with Arsenal instead ready to give Emery time to turn the situation around.

The Spanish tactician is likely to be given until the end of the season to get Arsenal fully firing.

Wanted: Adil Aouchiche

Barcelona are set for transfer talks with one of PSG’s highly-rated stars – but they won’t be about Brazilian superstar Neymar.

The Catalan giants tried several times to bring Neymar back to the Nou Camp over the summer but PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi stood firm with his £273million valuation.

Now, Barcelona have another Parc des Princes talent in their sights.

Spanish publication Sport claim Barcelona have been watching France youth international Adil Aouchiche and have sent scouts to monitor the midfielder at the Under-17 World Cup in Brazil.

The report claims Aouchiche is yet to sign a professional contract with PSG and can be signed for a minimal compensation fee in the summer.

Wanted: Kalvin Phillips

Manchester United are reportedly looking to make a shock move for Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

The 23-year-old, who is a key member of Marcelo Bielsa’s side, has already been looked at by several Premier League clubs.

However, according to The Sun, United have sent assistant manager Mike Phelan and coach Kieran McKenna to look at Phillips on at least two separate occasions.

The report claims Phelan visited Elland Road for the Whites’ 1-0 victory over Birmingham last Saturday, in a clash where Phillips scored the only goal of the game.

It is claimed that United then followed this up with another visit a few days later, but this time McKenna made the trip, when the Yorkshire club travelled to Deepdale to take on Preston North End.

Laca likes

Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette has liked an Instagram post calling for the head of manager Unai Emery.

The Gunners’ difficult Premier League campaign went from bad to worse on Sunday as they threw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.

Among those unhappy with Emery is AFTV regular Troopz, who took to Instagram to vent his frustration after another below-part performance from his team.

The Arsenal fan said: “Im sorry, I’m done with this now. You can’t be 2-0 up at home to palace and draw. Emery I’ve backed you but, bro, enough is enough. Xhaka can f**k himself as well. Never wanna see him in an arsenal top again!”

Despite the strong words, and clear anger, Arsenal hitman Alexandre Lacazette has liked the post on social media.

Carles Alena leaving

Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena will be loaned out for the remainder of the season.

Alena, 21, has earned just 45 minutes of La Liga action this season and that came in the opening day defeat to Athletic Bilbao.

And now, Sport claim Barcelona officials have decided to send the Spain Under-21 star out on loan to gain first-team experience.

Real Betis, Getafe, Celta Vigo and Granada have all been linked with Alena.
