Transfer news LIVE: Liverpool eye Real Madrid ace, Man Utd deal APPROVED, Arsenal, Chelsea

8am UPDATE: Man Utd eye Daniel James

Manchester United have emerged as frontrunners to land Swansea starlet Daniel James in a £10million deal, it has been claimed.

The 21-year-old is also wanted by Liverpool and Leeds tried to sign him in January.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to add a right winger to his ranks with James fitting the bill.

The starlet would be available for around £10m as he only has one year left on his contract at the Welsh club.

7am UPDATE: Liverpool want Real Madrid star

Liverpool will make a move for Real Madrid ace Marco Asensio this summer.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reckon Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the winger.

It’s claimed Klopp tried to sign the 23-year-old last summer, however, Real Madrid refused to sell.

Mundo Deportivo add that Real president Florentino Perez will once again stop Asensio from leaving.

7.30am UPDATE: Man Utd in for Harry Maguire

Manchester United are considering renewing their interest in Leicester defender Harry Maguire this summer, it has been claimed.

Former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho tried to sign the England international this time last year but failed to bring him to the club.

Ed Woodward has green lighted a club record deal for a centre-back this summer.

And the Evening Standard claim United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eyeing Maguire as the ideal candidate to join the club.

The Red Devils are also interested in signing Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly and Real Madrid ace Raphael Varane.

6.30am UPDATE: Arsenal to miss out on James Rodriguez?

Arsenal could miss out on James Rodriguez with Chelsea and Manchester United also interested.

The Gunners were tipped in January to make a loan move for the Colombian.

And now Marca claim the Premier League trio are all interested in signing Rodriguez this summer.

Real Madrid are ready to sell the forward after a two-year loan spell at Bayern Munich.

6am UPDATE: Tiemoue Bakayoko future uncertain

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has strongly denied he has been acting up while on loan at AC Milan.

But Bakayoko has since written on social media: “I don’t agree with being considered as a player who refuses to enter the field when his coach asks him to and who doesn’t respect his club and teammates.

“I was asked to get ready in case there was a change, so I prepared myself immediately and went to warm up for a maximum of two-three minutes, then I was asked to sit back on the bench. I think it was between 23 and 26 minutes [in the game], and it was when I was sitting on the bench that the Coach spoke to me unexpectedly and I did nothing but repeat his words. Nothing more.

“Things are clear: I never refused to enter the field. It seems to me that the images speak for themselves. I had only one wish, to enter the field and help my teammates like I always have and will do until the end of the season. Forza Milan.”
