Lydia Bright is gearing up to welcome her first child, with her due date fast approaching.

The Towie star – who is fronting Santander’s new fraud prevention campaign – is set to give birth in just a few weeks, and can’t wait to meet her little girl.

But, in a candid chat with Metro.co.uk, the mum-to-be revealed she’s finding it tough not giving it her all in the gym.

‘It’s my last stretch now but it’s going well,’ the 29-year-old told us. ‘I’m in my third trimester now. I want to still be able to exercise but it’s hard. There are so many exercises that I can’t do now.

‘I just started this form of Pilates, it’s really nice because I get a workout but it’s not too cardio-intensive. I’m really, really enjoying it. I’m doing that and some yoga.

‘I’m still trying to keep quite fit whilst I’m pregnant, so I don’t struggle afterwards.

‘Very soon, in February, I’ll have my little girl and it will be worth it, all the aches and pain and the exhaustion.’

Lydia confirmed she will be having a ‘little princess’ earlier this year, and remained seriously coy on whether she had any names in mind for the little one.

The reality star split with boyfriend Lee Cronin around the time she announced their happy news, but isn’t dwelling on life as a single mum, previously insisting them ‘time is right’ for her to welcome a baby.

While she may be single at the moment, Lydia has had best friend Lucy Mecklenburgh by her side – with her Towie co-star also expecting a baby – with fiancé Ryan Thomas.

The pair were last on our screens last month, living life on the run in Channel 4’s Celebrity Hunted, for Stand Up To Cancer.

Unfortunately, their time as fugitives was cut short as they were the first to be caught.

But, considering they had just found out they were both pregnant – and battled morning sickness as well as the Hunters – they still smashed the whole thing.

‘It was good to do it, I think it was tough on us because both of us found out we were pregnant just before,’ she continued.

‘We were both quite sick in our pregnancies in the beginning. But it was an amazing thing to be part of.

‘Part of the show is being able to run away…,’ she laughed.

‘I think we would have been really frustrated with ourselves because that’s a show that is very much made for us, we are very competitive.

‘When we found out we were pregnant, we both thought, “let’s do it, give it our best but not push ourselves too much and overexert ourselves too much.”

‘We’ve got a different priority now, we need to make sure that we’re not burning ourselves out too much. It was really enjoyable but if we weren’t pregnant, we would have gone a lot further.’

As well as dodging those pesky Hunters, Lydia has also teamed up with Santander to promote their #GetTheInvisibleLook – a campaign to raise awareness of scammers on social media, and the dangers of buying products from adverts online.

‘Santander is really kind of trying to tackle it head on, giving everyone loads of advice and help,’ she added. ‘They’re really great at advice, but also at bringing them to justice and working alongside the police to protect people from fraudsters.

‘I’ve got a really big following online, over a million followers, and the majority of my following is female. It’s my following that is being targeted. I’ve been victim to it before, and I know how frustrating it can be.

‘People are buying things from Instagram adverts, going online and buying products that are never arriving or they’re completely different from what is advertised.

‘It’s a massive problem at the moment. Santander is really big on ensuring that they bring these scammers to justice, and preventing and fighting fraud, especially with young people online.’

Lydia is working with Santander UK, as part of the #GetTheInvisibleLook campaign highlighting the dangers of purchase scams for young people. For more information visit their website
