TOWIE star's fiancé in isolation after being tested for killer coronavirus in the UK


Dean Rowland, 35, took to Instagram to tell fans he had suffered with the “flu” and has now been tested for the coronavirus. Harry Derbridge’s fiancé posted a picture of himself wearing a facemask at Basildon University Hospital in Essex.

In his first post, he wrote: “Let’s hope I only bring a tan back from Thailand and not Corona.”

He followed up his post, writing: “I’ve basically been really ill with flu the last few days and as I have recently visited Thailand my doctors thought it would be best that I am tested for Coronavirus.”

He went on to say that tests for the virus have been done and he is currently in isolation for the “next few days” as he waits for his results.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways.

Thailand is reportedly dealing with the third-highest number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases after China and Singapore.

They were the first country outside of China to confirm that a patient had the infection in January.

It is believed 1,100 people have died from the disease and a further 45,000 have been affected worldwide.

Eight people are believed to have been infected with the virus in the UK.

Dean and Harry shared pictures of themselves relaxing on a beach and posing in a swimming pool.

In his first post, Dean posted a picture of the pair, writing: “Ready for a day of exploring. Can’t believe how beautiful Thailand is.”

On 30 January, the former The Only Way is Essex star told fans they are heading home to Essex.

In view of his 110,000 followers, he wrote: “And that’s that Thailand you are such a special place love you lots @mrdeanrowland Brentwood…. I’m coming home.”
