THE Only Way is Essex is back on our tellies for a 24th series.
But who won’t be returning to TOWIE, are there any new cast members and which familiar faces are sticking around? Here’s all you need to know.
When does the new series of Towie start?
Towie has been going since 2010 and is now back for it’s 24th season.
The new series started on March 17, 2019 at 9pm on ITVBe, and continues tonight.
You can watch it on the ITV Hub after it has aired.
Which members of the Towie cast have been axed?
Every year, the cast of Towie undergoes a shake-up and not everyone returns for the next series.
Ten Towie stars won’t be returning for series 24.
Chloe Lewis has mutually agreed with producers that she won’t be returning as a full time cast member.
Amber Turner quit after refusing to film scenes with her ex-boyfriend Dan Edgar.
The dramatic axing came as a shock to many who have been in the show as far back as 2015.
Who are the new Towie cast members?
The latest Essex girl to join the Towie cast is Chloe Ross.
Beauty therapist Chloe jetted off to Thailand to film with the cast including Pete Wicks, Bobby Norris and close pals Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet.
She revealed to The Sun that she is already eyeing up a romance with Sam Mucklow and Dan Edgar.
Chloe is the only new cast member to have been confirmed, but sources have revealed that TOWIE’s old guard have reacted with horror after bosses revealed they are bringing in a new wave of “super hot” 18-year-olds.
A source explained that the newbies have even started filming, but are being kept separate from the regulars – who are “desperate” to find out who they are.
Which members of the Towie cast are returning?
Apart from the ten stars who have been axed from Towie, it appears all the usual cast members are back.
In March 2019 the cast filmed a special TOWIE episode in Thailand.
