Jose Mourinho will be optimistic about his Tottenham Hotspur side’s chances of continuing their good form against RB Leipzig.

Spurs take positive momentum into the latter stages of the Champions League, despite starting their campaign with a 2-2 draw against Olympiakos and a 7-2 home thrashing from Bayern Munich, having now won gone unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions.

Leipzig will be no pushovers though, and Julian Nagelsmann will be equally confident of securing a result.


His side are second in the Bundesliga, only one point off first, and have recently travelled to Borussia Dortmund and Bayern without losing

Spurs will be without talisman striker Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko, who both have long-term injuries. Erik Lamela and Juan Foyth could return after absences, but are doubts.

Leipzig have a crisis in defence with Ibrahima Konate and Willi Orban ruled out injured and Dayot Upamecano suspended. Chelsea loanee Ethan Ampadu could feature instead.
