Top hotel rooms in the WORLD are revealed and three of them are in the UK

Penthouses with amazing balcony views and infinity pools in exotic locations are probably what comes to mind when you think of the world’s best hotel rooms.

And you’d not be far off, for the most part.

But you might be surprised to learn that three of the top suites are actually in the UK.

Fancy magazine Forbes have revealed the ‘Best Hotel Rooms in the World’ for 2019, presumably to give mere mortals a glimpse into the lifestyle of the rich and famous.

41 rooms made the cut altogether, with destinations in North America, Continental Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia featuring heavily.

The US had the most hotels, with 12 properties on the list, followed by China with seven and France with four.

And the UKs entries were, perhaps unsurprisingly, all London hotels.

The Shangri-la Hotel At The Shard, which has some of the best views over the capital, was on the prestigious list.

As was the Bulgari in ritzy Knightsbridge and 45 Park Lane, the beautiful Art Deco style icon in central London.

The rooms were apparently judged according to a number of qualities.

These include such as amenities, technology, artwork, soundproofing and design.

We’re personally happy with a cute Airnb or a Travel lodge with a working kettle, but it’s still nice to have a nosy at how the other half live.
