The Best Video Game Releases for May 2019
As another month approaches, another new batch of games are highlighted in our monthly feature, and May 2019 is no exception. While May 2019 is a bit light on notable releases, there are still some interesting games to be had. April 2019 was headlined by PS4 exclusive Days Gone and bloody brawler Mortal Kombat 11, and this month’s releases have an uphill battle to top last month’s releases.
A Plague Tale: Innocence
Looking to be another quality title published by Focus Home Interactive, A Plague Tale: Innocence looks to blend a narrative focus with strong gameplay elements. Set during the Hundred Years’ War, two siblings look to survive amidst the war as well as the Black Death. The game is an action-adventure title with puzzle and survival elements, and we are excited to see how the game shapes up.
Castlevania Anniversary Collection
The Castlevania Anniversary Collection brings a collection of some of the most iconic titles of the franchise. Some of the games included in the collection of eight games are Castlevania, Castlevania Bloodlines, Super Castlevania IV, and Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest. For those who want to take a trip down memory lane or to experience a plethora of Castlevania titles for the first time, the Castlevania Anniversary Collection is the perfect place to start.
