The lights are back up on Broadway once more, with the 75th annual Tony Awards airing tonight, after being pushed to a September date last year.
Like last year’s ceremony, the 2022 Tony Awards will be a three-hour event split between Paramount+ and CBS.
Darren Criss and Julianne Hough kick off the evening as hosts of The Tony Awards: Act One, an hour of exclusive performances and special award presentations streaming live on Paramount+ at 7pm ET 4pm PT.
Oscar winner and Tony nominee Ariana DeBose is set to host this year’s main ceremony, which airs at 8pm ET / 5pm PT on CBS. The 2022 Tony Awards will be televised live on the West Coast for the first time.

When Are the Tony Awards 2022?
Theater fans can watch the 2022 Tony Awards tonight, Sunday, June 12 beginning at 7pm ET / 4pm PST on Paramount+. The two-hour ceremony starts at 8pm ET / 5pm PT on CBS.

2022 Tony Awards: Nominees, Presenters
The Pulitzer Prize-winning musical A Strange Loop leads all Tony nominees with 11 nods this year, including Best Musical and Best Original Score. The Michael Jackson-inspired MJ The Musical follows with 10 Tony nominations, alongside Paradise Square, which also has 10 nods. The Lehman Trilogy leads the pack for plays with a Best Play nod as well as Tony nominations for three of its actors.
The 2022 Tony Awards presenters list, meantime, continues to grow leading up to Sunday’s show. Current presenters include RuPaul, Bryan Cranston, Cynthia Erivo, Andrew Garfield, Jennifer Hudson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Bowan Yang, and Michael Jackson’s kids, Prince and Paris Jackson.
