Tommy Fury: How much money did Tommy Fury get from Love Island 2019?

Love Island 2019 came to a close last night (Monday, July 29) on ITV2 with Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea crowned the winners of the show. Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague were the favourites to win the series with bookmakers consistently touting them as the champions. However, Newcastle beauty therapist Amber and rugby player Greg from Limerick pipped boxer Tommy and Instagram influencer Molly-Mae to the post.

How much money did Tommy Fury get from Love Island 2019?

The winners of Love Island won a £50,000 cash prize, which means Amber and Greg each walked away with £25,000 after they chose to split the amount.

Sadly, Tommy and Molly-Mae missed out on the money but said they’d found something more special in each other.

However, all the Islanders reportedly do get paid for appearing on Love Island.

WHO IS TOMMY FURY?

According to the Daily Star, each contestant earns £250 per week to “compensate” for the time they’ve given up to appear on the series.

The reports suggested this amount was increased from the apparent £2.80 per hour previously.

A source told the publication: “Everyone knows that stepping into that villa brings good and bad things.

HOW ARE TOMMY AND TYSON FURY RELATED?

“They risk coming out and being trolled on Twitter, their dreams of being a reality star dashed, work dries up and ending up feeling depressed and having issues.”

Tommy entered the Love Island villa on day one of the series shortly after the initial crop of contestants entered.

He has been on the show for its entirety of eight weeks which means he made £2,000 for his appearance on Love Island if the reported £250 per week is anything to go by.

WHO ARE TOMMY FURY’S EX-GIRLFRIENDS?

The sportsman stands to earn more after he leaves the villa from club appearances, sponsorship deals, potential presenting jobs and other possible opportunities that come with Love Island.

Prior to entering Love Island, Tommy will have made money from his fights.

His net worth is thought to be an estimated £118,143 ($150,000), according to Dreshare.com.

WHO IS TOMMY FURY’S MUM?

Tommy has made his intentions to go back into the ring again clear, suggesting he could be making more money from his fights going forward.

Tommy could also end up tying the knot with Molly-Mae after the pair seemed to be reciting their vows during the Love Island final.

Love Island 2016 winners Cara de la Hoyde and Nathan Massey are now married and have a child together.

Unfortunately, none of last year’s Islanders are still together after the show.

Previous Love Island stars have gone on to land presenting jobs such as Kem Cetinay who now serves as a behind-the-scenes reporter on Dancing on Ice after appearing on the show.

Meanwhile, last year’s winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham even went on to have their reality series before calling time on their romance.

Dani has also published a book called What Would Dani Dyer Do and appeared in Nativity The Musical alongside her famous actor father and Harold Pinter protégé Danny Dyer.
