Tom Holland reveals it 'breaks my heart' that Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't remember Spider-Man Homecoming

Earlier this month, Gwyneth Paltrow claimed she didn’t even remember working on Spider-Man: Homecoming in an interview, which her co-star Tom Holland hasn’t forgotten.

A few weeks after Paltrow made the embarrassing admission on Jon Favreau’s Chef show, the 23 year old Holland revealed how he felt about Paltrow forgetting about making the film.

Holland was joined by co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon to play a little trivia game for PopSugar, and when Paltrow was mentioned, Holland said how he felt about Paltrow forgetting about their time on the set.

‘I mean, I’ve only worked with Gwyneth one time, on Spider-Man: Homecoming, which she doesn’t remember. Which still to this day breaks my heart,’ Holland said.

Paltrow only appears in a surprise cameo at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, when she had set up a press conference for Holland’s Spider-Man to be revealed as a new Avenger.

However, during Favreau’s Chef program, he mentions that they started filming the show while they were making Spider-Man: Homecoming, but Paltrow thought that was part of the Avengers movies.

Holland then remembered another time where he worked with Paltrow, on Avengers: Endgame, but it seemed she still didn’t remember him then either.

‘No, actually no, that’s not true,” he then remembered. ‘One time when we were shooting [Avengers] Endgame, she was in her blue suit, and I was in my Spider-Man suit.’

‘She came up and she asked me for a photo with me and Robert [Downey Jr]. And I think she posted it and she said, ‘Robert Downey Jr. and myself and this guy.’ I was just the guy. It was cute.’
