Tom Holland is ‘heartbroken’ that Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t remember being in his Spider-man film.
Gwen, what’s going on? Tom is a sweetheart.
The 46-year-old actress, who plays Iron Man’s magnanimous partner Pepper Potts in Marvel’s Iron Man and Avengers, films, revealed this tidbit on Jon Favreau’s new Netflix Chef Show.
Paltrow appeared confused when Favreau told her she and him had been in Spider-Man: Homecoming together, and she remained visibly shocked when he told her the scene they were in together.

In a clip from the show, Favreau, who plays Happy Hogan in the MCU, brought up how they filmed together on the flick, prompting a bemused expression from Gwyneth.
‘We were in Spider-Man together,’ Favreau said.
‘Remember Spider-Man?’
‘We weren’t in Spider-Man,’ Gwyneth said.
‘I was in Avengers.’
After Favreau reminded her of Tom Holland’s presence on set in the scene where they walk out for a press conference, Gwyneth replied: ‘That was Spider-Man?! Oh my God!’
Holland was thoroughly, and hilariously offended.
Not one to let things go, he responded to Paltrow’s apparent amnesia during a game on PopSugar along with his Spider-Man co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon.
‘I mean, I’ve only worked with Gwyneth one time, on Spider-Man: Homecoming, which she doesn’t remember. Which still to this day breaks my heart,’ Holland laughed, trying to make light of the situation.
‘No, actually no, that’s not true,’ he corrects himself.
‘One time when we were shooting [Avengers] Endgame, she was in her blue suit, and I was in my Spider-Man suit.’
Bleak.
‘She came up and she asked me for a photo with me and Robert [Downey Jr]. And I think she posted it and she said, “Robert Downey Jr. and myself and this guy.” I was just the guy. It was cute.’
Though Gwyneth’s appearance forms only a small cameo at the end, in a scene where she helps announce Spider-Man is the new Avenger, it still burned a little for our hero.
