Wednesday’s back page headlines don’t read well for fans of London rivals Tottenham, Arsenal and Chelsea.
Gunners midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is the major focus for the papers while there’s also reports that Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is being linked with a move to a European giant.
Juventus are looking for a new manager to replace Massimiliano Allegri and according to the Independent Argentine Pochettino is their top target.
Other candidates for the Turin job include Chelsea’s Maurizio Sarri and Lazio’s Simone Inzaghi.
Gunners anger
The decision to leave Mkhitaryan out of the squad for the Europa League final against Chelsea next week has left Arsenal in a “rage” the Daily Mail reports.
“Miki Baks Out” says the Daily Star’s back page while the Daily Express reports that Armenian Mkhitaryan has been “forced out” of the final over fears for his safety in Azerbaijan.
Conte’s £9m pay-off
The Times reports that Antonio Conte has won his legal battle with Chelsea. The Blues have been ordered to pay their former head coach £9m in compensation after his sacking last summer.
