If you’ve ever checked the time at the exact moment it turned 22:22 (or 11:11), it’s likely you already have a sense of what angel numbers are. It might sound a little ~ mystical ~ but numerology is actually a rapidly-expanding area of study. And if we’re open-minded enough to tune into it, we might just start reaping the results.
One of the most significant days in the field of numerology is the 11th November, AKA 11/11. Of course, this date is also Remembrance Day, which is one of the most important dates in the UK calendar, as we remember and honour those who lost their lives fighting in wars.
GLAMOUR wanted to learn more about why 22/22 is such an important date in numerology, speaking to Chris and Suzanne Styles, the founders of Numerology For Women, and Zee, physic and founder of Zee to Zen, to find out what angel numbers are, what they mean, and how we can harness their power.
What are angel numbers?
According to Chris and Suzanne, “Repeating numbers (like 1111 or 2222 or 3333) or numbers that appear in a significant sequence (like 1234 or 1551 or 2020) are referred to as “angel numbers.”
They add, “The use of the name angel is because it’s believed that these are deeply significant spiritual messages for you from The Universe / Higher Power / Source Energy.”
What does 22/22 mean?
“22/22 is possibly the most significant date in our lifetime to manifest and align with our divine destiny. It is 22/02/22 and of all days of the week, falls on Tuesday. The number 22:22 is an angel number, which represents harmony and serenity,” Zee explains.
She continues: “It holds a very strong message that you must find balance in your life and that you need to gain clarity on what you want to desire and co-create with the universe to take aligned action. On 22.02.22 the spiritual veil is thin, which means the energies are more intense and stronger. This will then enable you to claim what you desire and put it out into the universe. The frequency and vibrations of the universe will be high on this day, so it’s important that you remain an energetic match.”
What are the most significant angel numbers and what do they mean?
Chris and Suzanne explain that “the most significant angel numbers by far, are those which are associated with the purest master numbers of numerology, being 11, 22 and 33.”

“This number is associated with intuition, vision, illumination, and enlightenment expressing itself through you, the individual. When you see 11:11 for example, the message to you is intensely personal and is encouraging you to trust your intuition and do what is best for you.”

“This is The Master Builder feminine number, [which] is associated with material matters, planning and executing on a grand scale and achieving much through diplomatically and intelligently leveraging the collective efforts of others around a common practical vision. When you see 22:22 for example, the message to you is around others and the importance of cooperative teamwork.”

“This is The Master Teacher creative-child number, [which] is associated with communication, self-expression, imagination and having fun expressing itself through responsible relationships. When you see 3333 for example, the message is to be creative and to think imaginatively out of the box.”
