To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before actress Lana Condor has opened up on her anxiety battle, and how it has been made worse through social media.

In a new video series, titled Hi Anxiety, the 22-year-old addressed her personal struggle with her mental health.

The star spoke about how she first experienced anxious thoughts in sixth grade and has since found coping methods to help calm her down.

Chatting into the camera, the Lara Jean star said: ‘We are so sucked into our screens, and our life is so perfectly curated, and I think that contributed a lot to social anxiety I have.

‘You see other perfect lives and your life isn’t like that.’

She confessed: ‘If I go out, and people see that my life isn’t perfect, I’m afraid they’ll judge me or not like me.’

Noah Centineo’s BFF joked about the misconceptions fans have of her, adding: ‘I think people assume that I always look like this – which is not true.

‘I have hair and makeup on my face right now. But when I’m at home and watching a movie I look just fantastic.’

The much loved star then went onto discuss ways she tries to prevent her anxiety, telling viewers to find a box or something rectangular to focus on.

‘You breathe in across it,’ she explained as she ran her finger along the top of her make believe box.

Dragging it down the side, Lana continued: ‘Then you hold [your breath] down, then you let it out.’

Going up the other side of the rectangle, she beamed: ‘Then you breathe in. And then you repeat that.

‘It’s a really good tip and trick you can do to help with your anxiety in the moment.’

Lana is currently filming for the sequel of TATBILB, and recently reunited with her co-star Noah.

Taking to Instagram, the Lara Jean actress shared an adorable video of herself chomping down on pizza while running on a park treadmill next to her co-star.

In the caption, she wrote: ‘One of us is more coordinated than the other… also, note the pizza.’
