The comedy dream team are BACK – Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the Golden Globes in 2021.

Hollywood’s funniest ladies will recreate the magic of their last three hosting gigs in 2013 and we can’t wait to see them in action.

Their return to the awards stage comes after Ricky Gervais’ controversial fifth and final presenting stint proved divisive to both the LA audience and back home.

Amy herself made the big announcement on Saturday, joking: ‘There are no two funnier people anywhere.’

The tongue-in-cheek Parks & Recreation star said the NBC network is glad the pair found time in their busy schedules to take on the Globes.

Lorenzo Soria, president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which bestows the TV and movie awards, said: “There’s no denying that Tina and Amy’s comedic chemistry is infectious.

‘We can’t wait to see the dynamic duo return to the Golden Globes stage.”

The comedy duo previously starred in Saturday Night Live together, as well as feature films including Mean Girls and Sisters.

They have hosted the Golden Globes three times before and last fronted the ceremony in 2015.

At the time, they claimed it would be the last time they hosted.

Oohoohoo, famous last words, ladies.

Their presenting stint follows a seriously headline-grabbing show from Ricky Gervais, who lashed out at, hmm, pretty much everyone and everything.

He targeted people in the audience and the Hollywood industry as a whole – noting major controversial moments of the past year including Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein and the ‘hypocritical’ elite who work for the people they speak up against.
