Dixie D’Amelio has signed to Hitco Music after releasing her debut single Be Happy.
The star, who rose to fame on TikTok, is already smashing it with her music career, sharing a snap of herself posing next to producer LA Reid.
‘Excited to announce that i have joined the @hitcomusic family ❤️ ? thank you @la_reid,’ she wrote.
Friends and fans have been quick to support her, with TikTok star Addison Rae writing: ‘congrats qt.’
Singer-songwriter Nicholas Tomillon added: ‘Congrats angel ? proud of you. so excited to see what’s in store for you.’
It’s been a big couple of weeks for Dixie, after she launched her beauty line with her younger sister Charli, and graduated from high school.
Penning a heartfelt message about her experience, the 18-year-old explained: ‘Honestly getting through high school is one of the hardest challenge but biggest accomplishment in my life. The ups and downs made me who I am right now and made me appreciate every single day.
‘In my five years of high school, my entire life changed twice and I’m so grateful for each of these experiences even though at the time I would’ve wished for nothing more than to not be here.
‘I’m so proud of myself and all of the ways I persevered through so many different challenges. Life seems so easy now and so possible.
‘I’m so grateful for all of the people I met along the way even if we no longer talk because that experience just helped me grow and learn even more. thank you all so much for supporting me and watching me continue to grow up right in front of you.
I have so much love for every single person I meet and who I cross paths with, thank y’all for everything.’
The record deal also comes after she split from Griffin Johnson, after the pair publicly confirmed their relationship in June.
