The series also looks into Joe’s persona life and his tiger zoo, in which he owns 1,200 lions, tigers and bears.
The series also follows a range of eccentric characters, who own private tiger farms in the United States.
Tiger King also follows the animal rights movement in the US.
Documentary maker, Eric Goode filmed the series over five years and things took an interesting turn when Joe ended up going to jail.
