Tickets for Summer Nights at the Bandstand in Glasgow are on sale today – here’s how to get them


Tickets to one of the most hotly anticipated events of the summer are on sale from 9am today.

The Summer Nights At The Bandstand festival will run from July 30 until August 15 with a star-studded line-up set to perform at the iconic west end venue.

The Kelvingrove Park Bandstand and Amphitheatre is the only original bandstand left in the city and  will once again take centre stage in Glasgow for two weeks during the summer.

Now in its seventh year, Summer Nights will play host to big names including Primal Scream, KT Tunstall, Belinda Carlisle, Rick Astley, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Van Morrison, Edwyn Collins and Altered Images.

Tickets are on sale from 9am through Ticketmaster here.

Summer Nights at the Bandstand continues to offer one of the best line-ups of any UK festival and in previous years has played host to Brian Wilson, Sir Tom Jones, Burt Bacharach, Patti Smith, Bryan Ferry and Jimmy Cliff.

Mark Mackie, director of Regular Music said: “Kelvingrove Bandstand has such a fantastic atmosphere and the feedback we have had from both artists and audiences is that they have a great time just being there. They really are unique and special nights under the stars.”

Regular Music’s annual Summer Nights festival, which runs from the end of July into August each year, has become a firm favourite with music fans and scooped the Unesco City of Music Best Live Event at the Scottish Music Awards in 2017.

KT Tunstall who played the venue in 2017, said: “Thrilled to share that I’ll be part of the absolutely stellar line-up for Kelvingrove Bandstand this summer.
