Three Starbucks Drive Thrus to open in Glasgow in next few weeks

Three new Starbucks Drive Thru stores are set to open in Glasgow in September and October.

The new premises will create a total of 75 new jobs in the local area. Operated by Starbucks franchise partner, OCO Westend, the stores form part of a wider expansion in Scotland.

The first store opened on Dalmarnock Road today, on Friday September 4, with two further stores opening on Renfrew Road and at Hillington Business Park in October.

To celebrate the opening, each store will offer the first 100 customers to enter the store a free reusable cup. Starbucks offers a  25p discount  to all customers who bring a reusable cup when purchasing a drink.

Gordon Campbell, Starbucks operations manager at OCO Westend Ltd, said: “As part of our expansion project bringing 11 new Starbucks stores to Scotland, we are excited to open our stores in Rutherglen, Paisley, and Hillington. We look forward to welcoming customers to enjoy their favourite Starbucks food and beverages.”
