Thomas Tuchel invites Rio Ferdinand to watch PSG train – then remembers his Man Utd link

Rio Ferdinand interviewed Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel ahead of Manchester United’s Champions League last-16 clash with the French giants on Wednesday.

And he got on so well with the German that he was invited to come to PSG at a time convenient to him to watch the Ligue 1 champions train.

Ferdinand interviewed Tuchel on BT Sport, and spoke to the manager about everything from how he handles Neymar to how far he believes Kylian Mbappe can go in the game.

When the interview ended, Tuchel said to Ferdinand: “Whenever you want to come you are invited to lunch. I would love you [to come for] dinner.”
