Thomas Middleditch’s wife Mollie Gates files for divorce…. after Silicon Valley star claimed ‘swinging had saved his marriage’
Silicon Valley’s Thomas Middleditch has split from his wife, Mollie Gates, after four years of marriage.
The costume designer filed for divorce on May 28 after separating on May 22, according to reports obtained by People.
Mollie listed ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for filing and has requested spousal support.
They don’t share any children together.

‘They still care deeply for each other and will move forward as friends,’ a source told the outlet on Saturday.
The news comes after Thomas boldly revealed last year that becoming swingers had saved their marriage.
‘Only after I got married was I like, “Mollie, I’m sorry, but we have to get nontraditional here”,’ he told Playboy last September.

Following the release of the article, Thomas was regretful, telling The Daily Beast on their podcast last month that it was ‘poor execution.’
