This Timelapse Captures 8 Years of Singapore’s Changing Skyline in 5 Minutes

Photographer Keith Loutit spent 988 days between 2012 and 2020 shooting thousands of different perspectives on the island nation of Singapore. Using the huge number of photos created, Loutit created this beautiful 5-minute timelapse that shows how Singapore’s skyline changed over the past 8 years.

“Hello, Singapore. Here’s our latest,” Loutit writes. “2020 has been a tough year, but hopefully this film will help you to reflect on all that you have achieved, and know that this difficult time will pass.

“Our thoughts go out to Singapore’s foreign workers and healthcare professionals who have endured so much, and thank you to everyone working so hard to keep our families safe.”

We’ve previously shared two other timelapses of Singapore by Loutit in 2013 and 2016.
