This Morning presenters have reportedly made complaints about their co-host Phillip Schofield.
According to The Sun, there are eight ITV presenters who have spoken about a “toxic” atmosphere in the network.
On top of that, there are reportedly tensions between Phillip and Holly Willoughby behind-the-scenes.
ITV have firmly denied that there were any tensions, branding the rumours as “malicious gossip”.
The news comes months after Phillip’s alleged feud with Amanda Holden , following rumours he’d got her banned from presenting the show.
Fern Britton also quit her role on the show as it was reported that Phillip was paid “three times” more than her, as her agent called him an “arch manipulator”.
A source reportedly told the publication: “For so long people have been silenced because they are scared for their job. If they speak out publicly about the atmosphere they fear there could be repercussions.”
Hitting back at the claims, an ITV spokeswoman said: “It’s deeply disappointing and unfair for Phillip to be the target of this sort of malicious gossip. Phillip is a much respected broadcaster and colleague and this is absolutely not a description of This Morning that we recognise.
“Holly and Phil are great friends both on and off screen and are popular among viewers and colleagues alike.”
Editor of This Morning Martin Frizell added: “I spend hundreds of days a year in their company and what you see is what you get, a genuine friendship from a couple who are both spontaneously funny and professional.
“We have the smartest viewers watching telly and believe me they would be the first to notice any issues – they haven’t because there are none.”
Daily Star Online has contacted Phillip’s representatives for comment.
