This Morning makes epic privacy blunder as MP's number leaked during huge TV row

This Morning presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford had a fiery debate with MP Tracy Brabin about ministers claiming expenses during the coronavirus pandemic.

As the pair took her to task about the controversial topic, viewers were baffled as they noticed that Tracy’s number was being displayed live on air.

The interview was thrown into chaos as Tracy’s phone kept ringing throughout the interview, and the trio couldn’t work out what as going on.

As Tracy said goodbye to the pair, fans couldn’t stop laughing as they realised she was being persistently called by viewers.

They rushed to social media to share the epic blunder, as one posted: “Probably should have not published Tracy Brabin’s phone number on the top of the screen…”

Another added: “Oops! It appears that This Morning have just revealed Tracy Brabin’s telephone number on air during a FaceTime interview. She will not be happy.”

A third chipped in: “Her signal isn’t bad, instead, her number was leaked live on TV and everyone is trying to call her.”

A fourth wrote: “Tracy’s mobile number was showed on screen.”

Tracy later took to social media about the major mistake, as she put on Twitter: “Just done This Morning and my phone number was posted on screen and I’ve been inundated so will have to change my number. Please TEXT.”

She is the MP for Batley and Span, taking over in October 2016 after the murder of Labour Jo Cox.
