This Morning Eamonn Holmes drops jaws as he makes racy Ruth Langsford sex confession

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford opened up today’s This Morning with a romantic display, with Eamonn reading out a touching poem for Ruth.

She said that she was yet to receive a gift from Eamonn, while he said he’d been left “puzzled” by Ruth’s gift to him – a posh toiletries bag for the airport.

Soon, conversation moved to romantic music, with a number of lovey-dovey songs being played in the studio, though not Ruth’s favourite.

Ed Sheeran song Thinking Out Loud started playing and Ruth started to dance along, which got Eamonn thinking.

He said: “Now that she’s getting in the groove, the next thing she’s going to say, ‘Oh, I want a bit of Marvin Gaye, Let’s Get It On!’

“I tell you what, if I ever get home and that’s playing…”

Before Eamonn could finish his sentence, they moved on to start the episode, though it was clear what he was implying.

Earlier, Eamonn and Ruth had majorly butted heads after he had been left unhappy by the gift she’d got him for Valentine’s Day.

He said: “Ruthy left me a present this morning. There was a beautiful bag besides my bed on the table, all done in red tissue, hearts.

“I delved into it and I took out a plastic bag, a container, a see-through makeup bag thing!”

But Ruth explained that Eamonn always complained about having to put his toiletries into a flimsy bag at the airport, so she bought him a nice bag to save him the hassle.

She snapped: “What did you want? A thong with red hearts on it? What were you hoping to find?”

Eamonn told her: “I didn’t get it, let’s put it that way.”

He said: “Darling, I’m just puzzled. It would be the equivalent of me buying you an iron or a brush or a mop and saying, ‘Have fun today, darling!'”

It sounds like this will be one tiff that will be continued off-air.

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
