This is why Chrissy Teigen is getting Botox during pregnancy

If there is one thing we love about Chrissy Teigen, it’s her honesty. Despite being the victim of trolling pretty much every time she opens her mouth, she still speaks her truth and isn’t afraid of doing so. R-e-s-p-e-c-t.

Now, Queen Chrissy has taken to Twitter to share why she’s getting Botox whilst pregnant with her third child.

She wrote: “I get really really bad pregnancy headaches. was thrilled to be cleared to do neck muscle botox along with a crazy combo of beta blocker shots and radio wave frequency something something doctor terms. anyhow man it’s just so bad but I see the light finally”.

She also added that getting jaw Botox for grinding “was a MUST” for her regular headaches, and that “You can also do behind the brow for migraines. Life changing.”

One user replied: “They wouldn’t do my botox when I was pregnant. I get it for migraines. Hope you get some relief”, to which Chrissy replied: “Yeah if you have the means to go to a neurologist instead of cosmetic it’s a lot better and safer because they talk to your OB”.

Chrissy certainly isn’t alone in her suffering. According to the NHS, some pregnant women find they get lots of headaches, most commonly in early pregnancy. They usually improve or stop completely during the last 6 months.

The 34-year-old hasn’t actually been met with many negative comments so far, but we doubt it would bother Chrissy even if it did. One fan said: “Oh girl. The crunchy granola moms are gonna come for you”. Chrissy’s response? “I absolutely do not care”. We love you, Queen Chrissy.

Chrissy found out that she was pregnant on 19th June – the day John Legend released his latest album ‘Bigger Love’ – after taking a routine pregnancy test before having her breast implants removed. Chrissy’s other two children, Luna and Miles, were conceived through IVF.
