This footage of a rabbit being stroked on the head will make you question reality itself.

The caption tricks you into believing it’s just a cute bunny enjoying a tickle under its nose.

But if you twist your head, a raven suddenly appears.

What you thought were rabbit ears are actually the open-wide beak of a bird.

It turns out ravens love a good stroke as much as the next pet.

Dan Quintana is to blame for the optical illusion that sent people down a rabbit hole with this caption on Twitter: ‘Rabbits love getting stroked on their nose.’

People were left sitting there for ages thinking it was a well-behaved bunny enjoying some human attention.

One person said: ‘Wow, I sat here for ages seeing someone petting a crow w its beak open to the air, and thinking ‘rabbits??”’

It seems people have been confusing rabbits for birds for a while now and these two drawings prove how easy it is.

If you liked that optical illusion, get a load of these black and white stripes.

Just shake your head for a few seconds and watch as the creature appears.

If you’re struggling to see it, try getting further away from the screen – hold your phone further away or take a step back from the computer.

Can you see the animal hidden in the lines? (Image: Twitter/@medickinson)

Yep, it’s a little black cat.

This next ‘wait, what?’ inducing picture will definitely keep you scratching your head.

It’s easy to assume this is simply a photo of a woman’s hair.

But it turns out it’s not actually her neck.

What we’re actually looking at is a woman’s long hair flowing down her naked shoulders and back.
