This cult Parisian brand just launched super chic eco-friendly workout gear

Always wanted to channel your inner chic Parisian self while working out rather than the usual sweat fest? Then look no further, the kit for you is finally here.

Luxury French label Sézane, which opened its first London store last year, has just released its debut activewear collection, and it’ll give you all the gym motivation you need for the new year.

There are 23 pieces in the EPS or ‘‘Education Philosophique et Sportif’ capsule collection, each made using either recycled or eco-friendly fabrics. Better still, it’s all available at a reasonable price point, with items starting from £35, and matching sets available for under £100 – Christmas lists at the ready, people.

The colour palette is muted creams, burgundy, greens and blacks, and the design is inspired by the refreshing French attitude towards fitness, which places emphasis on pleasure and wellbeing rather than sweat count, according to founder Morgane Sézalory.

“This collection is about pieces you can move and feel good in,” she explains. “Weekend yoga, a walk with friends that turns into a coffee, even a long flight. We wanted to design pieces that you can throw on without thinking & really live in.”

The drop features a green polka-dot bralet and legging pair (pictured at the top), giving a perfectly-timed festive twist on workout wear for this time of year, as well as matching leggings and a bralet in one of Sézane’s signature floral prints.

Suzanne Bra (£40) and Surya Legging (£60)

Each item has cute details. Take the Surya legging for example (£60, the burgundy is a personal favourite), which has a button detailing on the waist, or the Camille crop top (£45), with a plaited neckline. The garments lend themselves well to layering, too. Team with the Ava cream organic cotton sweat (£80) featuring a frilled neck, and you have the perfect crunch to brunch ensemble.

There are logo’d ‘EPS’ sweats with a retro vibe and loose fitting tees with perfectly positioned knots, all made of 100 per cent organic GOTS certified cotton.

Cream Jeanette top (£35)

And gym-goers who do like to get their sweat on are also catered for, with a t-shirt featuring moisture-wicking technology.

The collection launched on November 6, but you’d better start dropping hints soon as it’s limited edition, and items are already selling out online.
