Anderson Strathern has been reappointed for a second time to all six lots of the Scottish Government Legal Services Framework.

The appointment which ollows a competitive tender means the firm’s services can be used by the Scottish Ministers, including agencies and central government bodies.

The Framework covers: Contract, Commercial and Corporate Law; Debt Recovery; Litigation, Reparation, Employment and Inquiries; Major Infrastructure & Commercial Projects; Property and Related Matters; One Stop Shop, incorporating the other listed services.

Murray McCall, managing partner and lead partner for the Scottish Government contract, said: “It is a real privilege to have the opportunity to continue our work with the Scottish Government and other partners on the framework.

“It was a major team effort to secure a place on every Lot and I look forward to renewing relationships with our framework partners.

“The wide range of work done across the whole firm involving many different departments, specialisms and our solicitors is fantastic and this tender win further establishes our position at the top of the tree for public sector work.”

Anderson Strathern’s chair Bruce Farquhar added: “The news of the successful re-appointment of Anderson Strathern to all six lots of the Scottish Government Legal Services Framework combined with our many other recent successes, are making this one of the firm’s most successful years.  It demonstrates our capability across all legal sectors.”
