Thierry Henry has asked Arsenal fans to give Nicolas Pepe a chance to adapt to the Premier League.
The Ivorian, who joined the Gunners for a club-record £72million in the summer, has struggled to hit the ground running scoring just three goals in 15 appearances so far.
But legendary striker Henry believes Pepe should not be blamed for the club’s poor performance as a whole.
“When you arrive like that, you’re always going to be talked about, and people are always going to target you,” he told Yahoo Sport.
“He needs to make sure he doesn’t listen to that and go out and perform. People need to forget about the price tag.
